Meet Bridget
My relationship with Kambo began in 2017 during a personal journey in Costa Rica. Toward the end of that trip, I was introduced to Kambo for the first time — an experience that stayed with me and continued to unfold long after I returned home.
After returning to Southern Humboldt, I invited the practitioner I had worked with in Costa Rica to begin offering sessions locally. What began with a small group gradually grew into a consistent community setting. Over the following years, I helped organize, host, and assist in these gatherings, supporting the facilitation process and continuing to deepen my understanding through direct experience.
Seeing Kambo function as an evolving process taught me the value of grounded, consistent support. I saw that meaningful outcomes come from mindful facilitation rather than compressed timelines.
I eventually pursued formal certification with Tribal Detox, focusing on safety, rigorous intake screening, and responsible care. I integrated traditional wisdom with a structured, reliable framework for supporting others.
I waited to build a foundation of respect and readiness before offering this work professionally. Today, my approach is centered on safety, informed consent, and taking the time to meet each person where they are.
Integration is an important part of this work. Informed by my background in Ayurvedic wellness, I offer check-ins and ongoing support to help clients process their experience and carry it forward in a meaningful way.
In addition to my work with Kambo, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training in India. These experiences support a clear, grounded approach focused on helping clients find clarity, reset, and forward movement.
